Triple T #1 (Time Traveling Today)

Hello folks,

Considering a lot of what I’m covering involves looking at older toys and action figures, I figured that it would be fun to check out some advertisements for those products from back in the day. With that in mind, let’s go back in time!

Adventureland

Showcased in a post last week, Adventureland has a section of the store dedicated to older toys. While it may be a small part of the store, that section is home to a lot of history. In addition to the Cyclops visor toy that I enjoyed, the store also had some of The Uncanny X-Men action figures on display.

YouTube user wtcvidman uploaded a video of an original advertisement for The Uncanny X-Men action figures.

Retro Station

Located next door to Frankenstein Comics, Retro Station is a treasure trove of classic goodies. In addition to franchises such as Star Wars and The Wizard of Oz, Retro Station also carries GI Joe toys. One example of these are the GI Joe Adventure Team toys seen in the background of the photo below.

Plunder Palace

A relatively new store located in Cherry Hill, NJ, Plunder Palace is home to a bevy of older comics, toys, and records.  In addition to all of this, there is a Tekken Tag Tournament arcade machine within the store
